nicci & chad | barn at fallingwater ceremony & reception | laurel highlands wedding photography

Last August, I had the pleasure of photographing Nicci & Chad’s engagement session in the woods near Nicci’s family home. Her dad had built a bridge along one of their trails, and that was where Chad asked Nicci to spend forever with him as his wife.

It was only appropriate that Nicci prepare for the big day at her parents’ home, and I love that we were able to take portraits of her with her parents on that very bridge.

The couple’s handsome bulldog even put on a vest for the occasion, and I’m in love with the photos we captured of Nicci “proposing” to Geno with a new dog tag. He did, after all, take his Dad’s last name when these two tied the knot!

The two quite literally “tied the knot” with this fun hand-fasting ceremony!

Portraits at Fallingwater were among the high points of the day, and the rain held out for us to get some amazing images with this incredible backdrop!

I absolutely loved all of Nicci & Chad’s décor and details – it all suited their woodsy theme perfectly. It’s so fitting that these two took off on a road trip for their honeymoon, heading for some National Parks out west – how amazing!!

Congratulations, newlyweds!!
