Shawna and Michael’s day was absolutely beautiful and I’m so excited to finally share it with you!
The girls started off the day by getting their hair done at A Sense of Eden in Bridgewater.
The couple decided on a “first touch” – similar to a first look, but without actually seeing one another.
They wrote to each other and read the notes side by side. Shawna laughed at first because Michael’s note was so much shorter than hers, but she’s the one who was moved to tears 🙂
The ceremony was held at a family church in Monaca. The bride and groom gave communion to their guests, which was a great way to greet everyone rather than having a receiving line.
After family formals, we went to Lakewood for bridal party portraits! This is the park I grew up going to, so I rarely use it for sessions or weddings, and I’m always pleasantly surprised by the images I capture there.
The reception was held at The Fez in Hopewell, a venue that I love now that it’s been remodeled!
