FAQ:
Q: How many kids/pets can be in the session? Can multiple families book?
A: Any number of children/animals from one household are welcome to be photographed with Santa. If you’re wanting to book with cousins or friends, let me know and I’ll schedule the two separate sessions back-to-back so that we can get photos of all of the kids together! Grandparents LOVE this!
Q: Are these really at night? What about bedtime?
A: Yes, these are held starting at 6pm so that we can take advantage of the magic that the holiday lights bring to the setting. If your little ones have an early bedtime, let me know and I’ll do my best to get you scheduled earlier in the evening. I try to put bigger kids and more flexible families in the later hours, so we can save the earlier spots for kiddos that need to get to bed early!
Q: Can the whole family be in the photos?
A: These magical sessions are primarily for children (and pets for those of you who treat your fur kids like human kiddos!), but we’ve got an option to add a family portrait — either with or without Santa — at the end of your session. The fee is $95, and this will add three additional digital files to your session, getting you thirteen total files.
Q: Do I get to choose the ten images, or do you?
A: These are client’s choice! You’ll receive a watermarked gallery and you’ll mark your favorite images, and I’ll get the high-res downloadable versions delivered to you shortly after!
Q: What if I want the full gallery? Can I purchase it ahead of time? Can I purchase it after?
A: You can absolutely upgrade to the full gallery of images at any time.
Q: What about holiday cards? Will images be delivered in time?
A: While I only promise these will be ready within five days of your session, I’ve been known to deliver within 24 hours! I make these sessions an editing priority (and block of my schedule to prioritize them) to ensure you have plenty of time to get holiday cards ordered!
Q: What should our kids wear? What should we wear if we’re adding a family photo?
A: We’ll spend about 10-15 minutes walking around outside, so be sure to wear something weather-appropriate for a chilly evening! For kids, think cute peacoats, adorable warm winter hats and earmuffs, and don’t forget well-fitting gloves! For adults joining for family photos, fitted winter clothing is ideal. If you don’t have a fitted/flattering jacket, consider pulling your coat off for the photos and putting it back on when we’re done! I have some outfit inspiration here for you for the littles if you need it!
