Nikki and Corey couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day! 72 degrees and sunny on an April Saturday in Pittsburgh is simply good luck, there’s no other way to explain it!

We started off the day capturing some images of bridal party preparations at the bride’s parents’ house in the North Hills. Nikki’s gorgeous gown is from David’s Bridal.
I loved these shoes! Nikki said the jewels kept getting stuck in the lining of her dress, but I’d say that’s a fair trade-off for some phenomenal wedding day kicks!
Nikki got into her wedding dress and then she got to open up her wedding gift from Corey, a beautiful pearl ring with black diamonds. I think she liked it π
And she rocked that gown, don’t you think?
We then traveled to a nearby park, where Nikki and Corey would have their First Look. I wish I could talk all of my couples into seeing each other before the ceremony! The nerves disappear and it allows for so many amazing photos!
It’s hard to tell, but if you look closely, you’ll see Corey’s shades on top of his blindfold. Gotta keep the swag.
Corey calls this pose the “Obama Seal of Approval” – he tried to talk Nikki into ordering a canvas of this for their home π
We captured some formal images here and then went on to the ceremony.
I was so excited that their boxer, Nash, got to be a part of their big day! You can see more of his photos here.
Did I say formals? I meant duck faces.
I think trolley is the only way for bridal parties to travel. Seriously, how cool is this?
Ceremony time! This church is absolutely gorgeous, and has the longest aisle I’ve ever seen. Ever.
No one mentioned the “she’s mine” on Corey’s shoes – I’m SO glad I noticed π So cute!
We headed downtown from the church to get some bridal party photos and portraits of the new Mr. and Mrs.
Have I mentioned what a perfect day it was?!
On to the reception details! I LOVED this adorable cake topper from MudCards.
Bridal party grand entrances rolled around and the party got started!
The couple cut their gorgeous cake (I hope the cake topper is on display somewhere in your house, guys!)
Rege (Nikki’s dad) gave a hilarious speech that had everyone in stitches π After dinner, the father-daughter dance made me cry, per usual π
And of course we can’t forget about the mother-son dance!
And saving the best images for last – the bride and groom’s first dance as husband and wife!
Β
Oh, and I almost forgot to add this gorgeous photo of the couples’ rings!
The garter and bouquet toss was a blast!
Nikki and Corey’s brother-in-law is an avid diver, so the goggles/snorkel were a nice touch π
Luckily, someone a bit older took over after a little one caught the garter!
Corey’s sister caught the bouquet, and her expressions were *priceless* when this was going on! π
The reception was so much fun – see for yourself!
We grabbed a few quick night photos outside before heading to Buckhead Saloon for the after-party!
I’m so glad I was given the opportunity to capture Β this couple on their big day! Thank you both SO much! You were an absolute joy to work with!
