Hey, look! It’s another wedding blog post that talks about the weather. But this time, there’s very good reason 😉
So, I usually get pretty lucky with the outdoor elements of my weddings, even on days that are forecasted to be rainy. When I spoke to Avery over the phone on the week of the wedding, I told her that (knock on wood), I’m always lucky and we’d be totally fine with no rain on that Saturday. On the drive to the Laurel Highlands for her wedding to her sweet groom, Jason, I started to feel like a no-rain-good-luck-charm-fraud as I checked the hourly forecast and it told me that the day would be a washout. As soon as we arrived to the venue, though, I checked the forecast again and it said that the rain would stay away until the evening hours, when we’d already be done with portraits – my luck remains 😉
These two had such a wonderful wedding day! Despite a bad elbow injury and surgery just days before she donned her wedding gown, Avery looked just stunning as a bride. All day, I stared at her gorgeous red hair with jealousy 🙂
