Since it’s been over a year, it’s about time to post this gorgeous wedding on the blog! Because I didn’t have a blog up and running last year (with my new website construction going on), this has been put off for far too long 🙂

April and Shawn had their ceremony at the gorgeous Rogal Family Chapel at Robert Morris University.  Their formal photos took place on RMU’s campus, and the reception was held at The Club at Shadow Lakes in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania.

April’s dress was absolutely stunning.  It’s a piece from the designer Sottero and Midgley.

Her hair and makeup was done at the Brodhead Spa.

The emotion during April and Shawn’s wedding day was incredible.

I loved witnessing and capturing the love these two have for one another.

April’s gorgeous bouquet was created by Engle Florist in Rochester, PA.  They also made the bridal party bouquets.

The couple’s wedding cake was made by a friend. I was so impressed by it’s simple beauty. And it was delicious!

The guests had so much fun and there was more dancing than any other wedding I’ve photographed!

This funny-guy ‘wolf man’ crashed the party to dance with the bride, and to my knowledge, his identity still remains unknown by most guests and perhaps the couple, too? 🙂

I am so glad to finally share these images. I loved this wedding so much, and I see it as a true turning point for my business, as when I started to think of myself as a ‘wedding photographer.’ If the shoe fits, right? 🙂

A huge thank you to April and Shawn for sharing their big day with me. I hope that your first year together as husband and wife has been everything you had hoped and more, and I know you will be happily in love for many, many years to come.
